The Labour Technician is responsible for ensuring that the facility remains clean and organized by following Standard Operating Procedures set out and enforced by Health Canada. You will be supporting multiple departments within the organization to ensure the efficiency of production and packaging of premium Acreage Pharms products. Duties and responsibilities: Sanitize and scrub reprocessing rooms, pre and post-harvest Perform regular inspections to ensure equipment and rooms are clean prior to being used Remove waste throughout the facility Assist in the packaging, weighing, and labelling harvested Acreage Pharms product for shipment or storage Prune, top, trim, and water plants as needed Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all production activities at all times to produce consistent quality cannabis products. Employ professional and clear communication practices to maintain a positive and progressive team atmosphere. Other responsibilities as assigned by Department Supervisors/Leads and Managers. Requirements: Is collaborative and can work in a team Can communicate very well in both written and verbal means Has basic math, reading, and writing skills Physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending, and reaching Able to work overtime as needed, including nights and weekends Is reliable and punctual Possesses a positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Has a strong work ethic and can just get it done.
