This is a small family business that offers a very rewarding team-work based environment for all its members. Employees are positioned for gradual increased responsibility and towards operating all elements of the processing facility. More info at www.bowparkfarm.com The Job Day shift – 40 hrs per week – Monday to Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM Fall harvest September-November may require extra hours, and some weekends depending on work load Salary: $25 starting and increased with time and competence A diverse role that involves operating all elements of the product, from extracting the raw product from the storage bins to packaging, and loading the final product onto trucks with a forklift Cleaning, and maintaining the facility in good order Work Environment Dusty & dirty at times from machines and cleaning around areas Noisy Continuous standing The Skills Required Attention to detail Operating and maintaining all processing and packaging machines Problem solving A general level of fitness is required Able to perform moderate physical activity requiring handling of average-weight objects up to 30kg or standing and/or walking for up to 8 hours per day Driving a forklift The Attributes Required Dependable Self initiative driven Good team player Can work independently Excellent oral communication skills Experience: Packaging or product processing experience (preferred) Forklift driving (preferred) Education: Secondary School (Preferred) Location: Brantford, ON (Preferred) Licence: G (must have dependable transportation) Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $25.00 per hour Benefits: Dental care Vision care Schedule: 10 hour shift 8 hour shift Weekend availability
