Job Description

Great movies inspire, captivate, and motivate. So does great design. Our Creative Team is currently looking for a top-notch Graphic Designer, reporting to our Senior Art Director.

Strong design drives our purpose to help Canadians escape with our engaging entertainment brands, including Cineplex Cinemas, The Rec Room, Playdium and more.

As a part of our design team, your work will be seen by millions of people across the country. You’ll help grow and evolve the visual elements of each of our brands. You are a confident, curious, strategic problem solver and collaborator. Someone who can go from brief to engaging idea, and from sketch to final art, without a hitch. You will help Cineplex stand out as Canada’s premiere entertainment brand, and be recognized as a design champion and innovator. Also, this gig comes with free movies!

You will:

• Contribute to the creative process from concept to visualization and execution of ad campaigns, brand design, and marketing & corporate presentations.

• Participate in ideation sessions for creative briefs

• Design and create for multiple platforms and media

• Work with our Creative and Marketing teams, under tight timelines

• Assist in delivery of creative files for print, digital, and distribution as needed

Qualifications

You have:

Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience

A great portfolio showcasing your design, branding and campaign skills

Strong layout abilities and design Fundamentals

Understanding of print and digital standards

Solid knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft PowerPoint

Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and with tight deadlines

Strong attention to detail, and an eye for consistency

‍‍ Team player and relationship builder with an open mind and willingness to learn

Strong communication skills and the ability to convey creative concepts to the team

Ability to listen and interpret feedback

Must foster positive team atmosphere
