Salary Range $59,932.60 to $70,106.40 per year Union Position No Description Reporting to the Director of Financial Services, or designate, the Payroll and Accounts Receivable/Payable Coordinator is accountable for the accurate and timely performance of duties required to provide financial support services to the County of Elgin. Key Responsibilities: Administrative support assisting the Financial Services Department with reception duties, preparation and distribution of confidential documents, pay slips and mailings, maintaining office equipment and supplies, Accounts payable processing invoices, statement reconciliation, expenditures and petty cash transactions Bi-weekly payroll in compliance with collective agreements using electronic time and attendance program, ROE requests, OMERS Pension buy-backs, reporting, reconciliation, annual T4 preparation Qualifications: College diploma in Office Administration and/or other relevant education and related accounting experience. One to three-years of accounting experience in a municipal setting preferred with thorough understanding of payroll (unionized and non-unionized).
