-:Job Description:- Overview Construction Contracts Administrator (6 months) * Crosslinx Transit Solutions (CTS) is a consortium comprised of EllisDon, SNC-Lavalin, Aecon and ACS – Dragados. CTS has been selected by Metrolinx and Infrastructure Ontario to deliver the Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit Project and is seeking highly qualified, experienced personnel to join the team of this complex P3 design and construction project.* This position will provide support to the administration of contracts pertaining to the station construction projects as required by the contracts and procurement department. Responsibilities As a key member of the Contracts team, the Construction Contracts Administrator will support the Project Management Office and Systems teams on a wide variety complex subcontracts and purchase orders for materials, equipment, services and/construction works . Work closely with the construction teams, project management and engineering as well as other functional teams to ensure Subcontractor deliverables meet the project requirements. Collaborating with the procurement team for subcontract formation based on standard project terms and conditions including requirements insurance, bonds and milestone payments. Negotiate and issues change orders / agreement amendments to subcontractors, as well as coordinating internal requisitions for project approval. Participate in the review of any claims received from subcontractors and suppliers and prepare and issue an appropriate response for project management and legal team approval. Coordinate and lead in site progress meetings with sub-contractors and suppliers as required. Expedite subcontractor deliverables including progress reports and drawings and documentation submissions. Collaborate with the Prime Contracts Manager for any commercial issues related to the prime contract. Other duties that may be delegated or required from time to time at the direction of the management team. Qualifications Five years of practical contract administration or procurement experience in a similar role. Experience working within a construction electrical instrumentation or mechanical engineering environment and knowledge of construction processes by which the works will be undertaken. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Able to work under pressure and effective multitasking. A dedicated team player with excellent interpersonal skills. * Important Note: * As noted in the job requirements, CTS’s is required to perform a Criminal Record Check for all of our candidates during the selection process and should a final offer be provided it will be conditional on a successful background check. Considerations will also be given to what is a Bonafide requirement for the duties being performed Job Type: Full-time
