Job Description
Our Sales Trainee Program is a fast-track training program designed to prepare the successful candidate for a full-time position in Inside Sales.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES of an Inside Salesperson:
  • Answer incoming calls politely and professionally
  • Ask questions to identify the customer’s needs
  • Occasionally negotiates special pricing to secure orders at highest margin possible
  • Prompt response to customer inquiries
  • Meet customer expectation with respect to emergency and/or rush shipments100% order entry accuracy
  • Gather market intelligence and communicate same to the Business Centre’s Manager and Outside Salespersons
  • Develop strong relationships with key account
  • Take advantage of all opportunities to maximize gross margin
  • Promptly process customer request for returns
  • Take initiative to resolve service issues in a timely fashion
  • Assist at counter when traffic dictates
  • Advise purchasing of inventory issues/stock-outs
  • Utilize classroom and distance learning to continuously improve product knowledge in general and more specifically lighting and distribution

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Have an excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly flexible and adaptable with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Able to understand the customers’ needs and deliver according to their expectations.
  • A team player, adaptable, energetic with a positive professional attitude and manner
  • Self motivated to improve business skills and product knowledge.
