-:Job Description:- Full Job Description We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic (on-call) Host to join our team. There are no set hours for this position. We do a lot of pop-up contesting and community service events. The working platform here is Windows based with iMedia Touch software, a good working knowledge of both is required. Duties include: Remote broadcasts and promotional events Covering community happenings Voicing commercials, IDs, tags, etc. for station branding Scripting as needed Other duties as assigned This role reports to the station coordinator. Jukasa Radio, is a non-profit organization composed of a membership base rooted in the Indigenous community. Our programming: serves as an educational platform for our younger generations by showcasing customs and traditions of the Six Nations people and the Anishinabe people; facilitates the preservation of Native language through educational and musical features in various Six Nations and Ojibway languages; provides the younger demographic segments with robust content specifically tailored to their interests; and, contributes to the betterment of our communities by encouraging audience participation and interaction through accessible hyper local content.
