The incumbent is responsible for processing/sorting all incoming and outgoing mail and couriers daily. Also provides support for various office administrative and facility functions.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Sorts incoming mail and couriers into appropriate department mail slots
  • Sorts incoming couriers and logs on couriers sheets
  • Prepares outgoing couriers for daily pick up
  • Processes all outgoing daily mail by 3:30pm
  • Prepares mailing labels for FulFilment Department
  • Investigates with courier companies any undelivered packages
  • Keeps 1st floor print rooms tidy at all times
  • Keeps stock of all stationary, toner supply, paper supply, PPE products
  • Orders stationary supplies
  • Furniture orders for counselors’ offices
  • Scans all incoming Iron Mountain boxes for departments
  • Responds to emails in Toronto Mailroom inbox daily
  • Post-secondary education or a minimum of two years of relevant experience
  • English proficiency in communications verbal and written.
  • Dedicated team player, who demonstrates initiative, and independence
  • Exceptional customer focus with strong professional acumen
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Advanced skills with office equipment, including photocopier, colour printer, and facsimile
  • A good understanding of personal computers and software, particularly MS Word and Excel
