-:Job Description:- At Redhead Equipment we do “Whatever It Takes” to meet the needs of our customers and have been doing so for over 70 years. We deliver the most dependable brands of agriculture, construction and truck and trailer equipment across 11 locations in Saskatchewan. Our head office in Regina is currently seeking to fill a permanent, full-time accounting position. The successful candidate will report to the assistant controller and will work closely with our accounting and finance team. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for: Performing various account reconciliations including, but not limited to cash accounts, credit cards, prepaid expenses, wholesale contracts payable Processing regular payments made to & from equipment financing companies, in addition to the recording of these payments in the accounting system Creating and recording journal entries and invoices in our system Preparing monthly gross margin reports for various departments for the use of management Monthly reconciliations for commission amounts owed to employees, as well as preparing the corresponding journal entries Preparing monthly and annual reports for equipment financing companies Other responsibilities can include reviewing accounts payable invoices, running banking reports, preparing additional reports to be provided to various members of the management and finance team upon request Preference will be given to the individual that possesses: Strong knowledge of accounting principles acquired through a post-secondary accounting program (diploma or bachelor’s degree) Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong work ethic, positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as a member of a team The time management skills required to manage multiple tasks while meeting various deadlines Redhead Equipment offers an industry leading compensation package, RRSP plan, advancement opportunities, on-going training and a positive work environment.
