-:Job Description:-Full Job DescriptionSTIHL Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of ANDREAS STIHL AG & Co. KG in Germany, is a leader in the distribution of chain saws and handheld outdoor power equipment in Canada. We have an immediate opening for a remote position – Product Application and Training Specialist, working in B.C., Yukon and N.W.T. This position will be based from the home with travel accounting for 80-90% of the time. Key responsibilities for this position include: · Provide product and application training to support and grow the B.C., Yukon and N.W.T markets · Provide product field demonstrations, mainly throughout B.C. · Conduct service schools, Dealer support, end-user safety, maintenance and application training · Regional/Provincial travel 80 – 90% of the time · Reporting – field reports, trip reports, internal reporting · Provide support to the Technical and Sales teams across Canada Qualifications & Skills include: · Outdoor power equipment experience/knowledge · Strong communication skills – both written and verbal · Experience with presentations in a classroom setting · Strong organizational and problem solving skills · STIHL product knowledge an asset · A post-secondary education and/or related training · Ability to work well remotely and independently · Microsoft Office program knowledge (Word, Powerpoint, Excel etc.) What we offer: · Competitive salary · Company paid benefits ( health, dental, short term disability, long term disability, life insurance) · Above average company pension plan · Company vehicle, assistance with home office set up and cell phone I Job Type: Full-time Benefits:
