At Tapestry, residents live healthy, engaged, purposeful and socially connected lives and experience personalized, resident-centric service. Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, this role provides housekeeping services to help keep our active aging community immaculate and lovely, and to help ensure we are delivering an exceptional resident experience aligned to our Mission. The line shift is Monday from 7am to 3pm and Tuesday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. Starting day November 15, 2022. Responsibilities & Qualifications: At least one (1) year of housekeeping or janitorial experience, with comfort and experience and disinfecting common amenity and public community areas following prescribed work procedures This role handles a variety of cleaning duties, which may also include cleaning resident rooms, laundering linens and assisting with a variety of janitorial duties throughout the community You must be CPR & AED certified Experience working in a community setting or hotel environment is preferred You are an effective communicator, positive team player and flexible multi-tasker with a commitment to deliver extraordinary service to our residents Compensation Package: We offer an attractive hourly wage, and for all Server positions, no wait access to our Employee & Family Assistance Program, which offers no cost access to a variety of wellness services and employee perks. Our community is located in beautiful Kitsilano, BC, close to transit and parking options.
