Job Title: Territory Sales Merchandiser: Calgary (All Quadrants)

Days and Hours:

• Continuous Part-time
• Monday to Wednesday OR Tuesday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 15:00 PM
• 6 hours/day for a total of 18 hours per week.

Summary:

The part-time Retail Merchandiser will be responsible for ensuring that all authorized Hershey items are visible in the stores in their assigned territories and that product is displayed in such a way as to stimulate interest and entice consumers to make a purchase. Duties will include, but not be limited to, building displays, packing out product, replenishing permanent secondary displays, maintaining salability of all authorized Hershey items and gathering competitive data. There is no direct selling in this role. The Merchandiser is a part-time position at 18 hours per week.

Major Duties/Responsibilities:

• provide point-of-purchase, shelf management services and commercial displays of all authorized Hershey items
• maintain 100% presence of all authorized Hershey items in the assigned territory
• gather competitive data and report to DSS
• achieve merchandising objectives through effective use of permanent secondary displays and other display vehicles established within the Retail Execution Plan
• report weekly activity, expenses, competitive activity, account changes, promotions and all administrative functions within assigned territory
• report daily activity through the iPad Tablet

Essential knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:

• valid driver’s license without restrictions
• personal vehicle in sound operating condition
• mileage for travel will be reimbursed at .56 cents per KM
• personal auto insurance with at least the government set minimum liability
• ability to perform essential physical functions of the position daily (lifting between 10 and 50 lbs)
• available to work 18 hours per week
• must reside within the boundaries of the assigned territory
• land line/cell phone and internet access

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Education:

• Essential – High School Diploma

Experience:

Preferred – 1 to 3 years of experience preferred, but not required

The Calgary TSM earns $18.00 per hour plus a 5% annual cash bonus target, part time benefits and paid vacation.
